A news article recently reported that car screen wash can prevent Legionella Bacteria in your windscreen wiper water.
Why would nt you use car screen wash anyway?
The possibility of Legionella in windscreen water is not completely surprising as
it is a bug which will take advantage of warm water systems that are not cleaned out.
The HPA admitted that more research was required.
But if you have a car policy in your workplace you may wish to add the use of car screen wash, as it is a sensible idea anyway with regard to car maintenance.
